We're hosting an undergraduate Open House on Friday 21 April, with events starting from 9:30am and running throughout theday.  

At Open House,our studios and workshops will be open for prospective students. You can also visit our Student Halls and explore different parts of our campus and facilities such as the Library. Attending Open House will give you a great insight into the GSA’s unique studio culture as well as the specialist facilities which support student learning.  

For applicants interested in studying any of our Programmes based in the School of Simulation and Visualisation - Games and Virtual Reality; Sound for the Moving Image; 3D Modelling - there are a number of events happening which may be of particular interest. 

Attending OpenHouse is free, but booking is required for general admission to Open House Events. Booking is done via Eventbrite here:

Join us at the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) to find out more about undergraduate study within the School of Simulation and Visualisation.

The School of Simulation and Visualisation (SimVis) is a technically oriented school within The Glasgow School of Art andoffers students a creative outlook on the potential and concrete practice of art and design in the areas of Games, Virtual Reality, Sound Design and 3D Modelling. On SimVis courses, students learn to develop and practice their technical skills in their chosen discipline within the creative environment of an Art School. SimVis courses offer students the opportunity to critically explore their discipline in relation to current debates and issues at the GSAand the wider world.

Come along to hear from Head of Undergraduate Programmes at SimVis, Dr Sandy Louchart, who will talk about the programmes weoffer and answer any questions you have about studying here.

Tours and Demonstration: Simulation & Visualisation at The Hub, 12.30pm, The Hub Pacific Quay (Transport departs from The Reid Building in Garnethill at 12.15pm)
Following the talk at the Centre for Contemporary Art, you are invited to take a trip to The Hub at Glasgow’s quayside for a tour of the SimVis studios and facilities. Alongside the studio tour, we will have technical demonstrations across our different programmes including Games and Virtual Reality, 3D Modelling and Sound for the Moving image.

The Hub is based in Glasgow Digital Media Quarter at Pacific Quay. Free taxis will be available to transport visitors toand from the Garnethill campus and The Hub at 12.15pm outside the entrance toThe Reid Building on Scott Street.
